Mürren's highest skiing range starts at 3000 m above sea level on the Schilthorn peak. Optimum snow cover is certain here well into spring time!
Falls Frau Holle doch mal streikt, kann mit über 30 Beschneiungsanlagen nachgeholfen werden.
Overall, 50 km of prepared tracks and 14 modern transport installations provide plenty of choice for skiers, snowboarders, Nordic walkers or luge fans. There are leisurely forest tracks as well as the most challenging downhill slopes, also a half-pipe is not missing.
Among the traditional winter highlights is the famous Inferno-Ski Race (held since 19?? - open to every skier with a goodly dose of self-confidence) from Schilthorn peak all the way down to Lauterbrunnen village.

Nicht-Skifahrern empfehlen wir eine Schlitten-Abfahrt von Mürren nach Gimmelwald! Keinesfalls verpassen dürfen Sie die unvergessliche Panorama-Aussicht im Drehrestaurant auf dem Gipfel des Schilthorn!
